I gotta Find Peace of Mind

I dunno, like, I've come to this realization before but today kinda put the icing on the cake about people...

People are mad funny, but you know what, I can't even say funny because it really isn't comical. Honestly, I know God gives people only as much as they can handle but come on God, I know my faith isn't that strong so I know that under the circumstances I'm in I can understand why I can't take the pressure. I need church or sumthin' forreal. I know individuals are not supposed 2 go into the church when they need help and leave when they are fine but the churches doors are always open.


I've been through entirely too much for me to still be living in this type of environment.

Entirely 2 much runnin' through the dome, can't even type everything out, so i'mma leave it alone...

I KNOW I KNO I KNO I'VE BEEN GONE FOR ENTIRELY TOO LONG AND I SEND OUT MY APOLOGIES BUT BAK TO BUSINESS!
Now I know the semester is almost over but I have had a lot to learn of these several months and I guess that I will list them here lol.

1. NEVER EVER EVER EVER ASSUME LOL, forget about the saying lol, when you assume you fuck up, HORRIBLY. LOL
2. Giving "Chances" are for people who are innocent not ignorant and are willing to not fuk up n e more.
3. Don't let ANYONE tell you that who you are IS WRONG, or IS A PROBLEM!

Went through the bull dis semester but it's ok. I'm glad that I have some of the greatest people on dis Earth as friends lol. I realized that "I'mma special kinda nigga wit mine lol" and I posses qualities that people wish they had and/or hate on.

The blood fam is straight, bro moved out (showin some luv and hope yer doing well) Lil sis bout to go to prom (u deserve the best sis) and my two Older siblings are doing OK as well.

This semester I learned that college does have every type of individual that you could run into. And I realized that no matter how much of a people person you are not everyone is personable (if i said that right) lol, honestly, hold on lemme check a dictionary lmao....

So I used it correctly, but yeah right now I'm blastin' Jay Z's "The Dynasty" wondering why I never played the whole album. Kinda tired, Have to wake up at 9:00AM and have to eat soon. WOn't mind the bro N da sis (Moses N Whit) to come through but other than that, tonight is not a "Social Night" lol

Kinda Sooped!

Currently Listening to: Jamie Foxx and T-Pain's "Blame It"

So I'm going back to Rutgers today! I have been awaiting this day for a while now.
I've been going through it at home but i'm bout to be back at school where most of my troubles will go away.

I FINALLY GOT MY OUTFIT FOR THAT 80'S 90'S PARTY NAH MEAN!!! (sorry but i had to let the lingo out, lol) So i'mma put pics and stuff up right about......now:


THE SHIRT: So I was on Amazon.com one day just looking vigorously for 80's apparel and this amazing shirt came out of no where. Not only is the shirt themed "80's" with words like "Rad" lol but the colors will make me stand out and no one will probably have this shirt, so I think I did good in this portion. Also, I can more than likely rock this shirt on a regular day if I wanted to, in the long run, not wasting my money.



THE KICKS: So I'm guessing my theme is to "stand out" lol. The Adidas ZX600 Independence Day Sneakers match damn there perfectly with the shirt. A lot of people are probably going to rock Run DMC shirts and Kangols but no no no not me! lol Also, these kicks are another article of clothing that, when the time is right, i don't mind rocking again...probably with less colors though :-D.



THE ACCESSORIES: Now ofcourse I had to top it off with the Dookie Chain and the Black Frames. The Big gold Chains were in style back then and so were the glasses. I just hope i'm not doing too much or being too extra but at the same time THE 80'S WERE EXTRA lol and I'm trying to stand out anyway right? I'll be fine...


So yeah in less than an hour I'mma be on the road going back to school. My blog won't be as consistent as I would like it to be once the semester starts but I will honestly try to be on as much as possible. So on that note, I'mma be in my books, wait for all thiss tuff to be delivered and just cool out. Now i'mma bout to go listen to some N.E.R.D. Deuces!

American Idol Needs to STOP!!!

These people need to stop having these individuals embarrass themselves!!!! The process to get to the judges is very intricate and strict and the American Idol executives let some of these people go on T.V. knowing that they're not going to make it and hurt these people's feelings!!!

One of my favorite rappers, (third to Nas and Biggie), song is symbolic for many reason, especially living in the hood where some of the lyrics are 100% true, but enough about the song.

Me and one of my bestfriends got into an argument today (because we are both stubborn). I hate our arguments though because since we are both stubborn one is usually never ready to hear the other out, this time i tried to fix the problem, but the friend wasn't having that so I guess i'mma keep it moving until we're ready to get the F*ck over it.

Now todays main purpose lol, So what I have been having problems with this entire week is WHAT THE HELL WILL I BE WEARIN TO THIS 80'S VS 90'S PARTY???? I usually don't have this problem and this might be like the third blog i've talked about it but I want to have the perfect combination of clothes. I'mma put some pics up to show what I'm looking for.





SOPISTICATED 80'S: Now this pic (person on the left) is of Mikey Rocks of "The Cool Kids" and this outfit is mad simple but "kool". The only thing is that it might not be "old skool" enough for me.





SUPER-SONIC 80'S: Okay so here I have the "Old-Skool" breakdancing uniform. I was thinking about going this route with like either the black track suit or like a red one and then just add mad different 80's accents to it (I.E. rimless glasses, dookie chain, bright kicks) This might be more cost effective too lol. I'm leaning more towards this at the moment.




UNMATCHING GALORE: Everyone who knows me knows that I HATE NOT MATCHING MY CLOTHES!!!! (Part of my ODD) I match everything from pajamas and boxers to outfits lol. The 80's were notoriously known for not matching and i'm down with the movement but I don't think this is the right route for me to go. lol


SoOoOooOOoo, at the moment, I don't know. I might just go with the Adidas track suit, but we'll see. On that note, I'm baby-sitting my niece and nephew for a bit. I'll put some pics of them up if I can find them. On that note, if anyone, AND I MEAN ANYONE, has any ideas hit me up. I'm open to suggestions!

"Mista" was the group that Bobby Valentino was part of during his adolescent days. The song is mad old-skool (as myself) and is just cool to listen to, chill out and relax....I'll put the song somewhere on my post lol....but as usual, I digress...
I was inspired by the sis Dizzy's recently posted poem (Great job again by the way) and it made me want to go into my archive of poems i have saved up on Ghetto Soul Poetry.com (now known as gspoetry.com) I've belonged to the site for years now and have an archive of poems. Some of them are sad, some of them are full of anger (okay people i wrote them in highschool, wasn't everyone feeling like this lol) But yeah one of my favorite ones is called "Fly Away" and I'mma post it on here for my blog familia lol....Hope you enjoy!

Fly Away

I used to think I was an Angel
In the sense that I helped the helpless
and bless the blessed-less with actions of
kind deeds with the proper needs
But now I've realized that i'm not
the spiritual guardian I thought i was.
Angels don't get talked down upon
Angels aid those that need to be aided

What if Angels get verbally,mentally, or physically abused

Would they do it to get away from what they
believe is their duty?
With so much power behind their title
Can they ignore the great one and the bible?

An Angels Duty is an Angels duty!
But I have no contract bound to my cooperativeness
I am able to stop whenever I want

Before I digress into the blog you know I have to post what I'm listening to. (It's becoming a habit now) But yesterday I found this song on Pandora (An online personal radio that lets you hear music depending on the style you like) Anyways, Jon B came up with a song called "What in the World". The song is def a good one, i'll put the song up with the album cover. (should be on the right)



So winter break is more than half way over, finally, but I've probably enjoyed myself more than any other break so far. The last thing I want to do before I go back to school is hit up a Jazz Cafe in NYC. Other than that I have no plans for the next 2 weeks. I guess I can make a list of things to prepare for and achieve next semester....let's see:
-MAINTAIN THIS STRAIGHT "A" STREAK!!!!
-ummmm, go to the gym lol (and continue to go to the gym)
-Try not to party so much, even though I think I did good this past semester
-Continue to gather good music
-DELETE THE WORD "GAT" FROM MY VOCAB! (yeah this should have been done)
-Try to eat more healthy
-last but not least, try to be more responsible with my actions and own up to them, positive or negative.

I am def looking forward for this upcoming semester. O yeah, I don't even know if I said previously happy new year and all that good stuff lol, so there you go. I'll be back soon
